The United Probation Officers Association is a non- profit labor organization representing the health, safety and interests of New York City’s Probation Officers. The UPOA is dedicated to advancing the professional interests of its members. The UPOA protects the rights of its members, strive to achieve better and safer working conditions, bargains to secure adequate remuneration, endeavors to equitably resolve grievances, fosters fellowship among its members, and strives to provide the City of New York with the highest level of service. The Welfare Fund and The Retirement Welfare Fund of the United Probation Officers Association are dedicated to providing supplementary benefits to all its active and retired members.
