On Saturday December 3, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM UPOA will be hosting a Health and Wellness Event for all Active and Retired Members only. We will also have a Toy Drive and ask that all participants donate an unwrapped toy or book. All donations will be distributed to our Probation clients and their children (Details about the toy and book giveaway will be announced at a later date). UPOA will be marching in the 53rd NYC African American Day Parade on Sunday September 18, 2022. Click here to Register for the event . Please wear your African Day Parade T-shirt if you purchased one. If not, wear your blue and gold Probation Matters T-shirt distributed by UPOA. We will meet at 12 noon on the Westside of 111th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. It is our time to be seen and heard so join us and show solidarity for UPOA and all labor unions. Unified We Are Stronger And A Force to be Reckoned With Because We Matter!!!
UPOA has returned to participating in outside activities. On May 22, 2022, UPOA kicked off its outdoor activity with marching in the Israeli Day Parade. On 6/12/2022, UPOA marched in the 65th National Puerto Rican Day Parade and on June 15, 2022 UPOA showed up and showed out at the DC37 Contract Now Rally.
We have now honored to walk with Attorney General Letitia James in the Labor Day Parade on Saturday September 10, 2022.
